Stanford Basic Theme
Stanford Sites comes with a theme called Stanford Basic. It has branding options that are part of the Stanford Identity. It is appropriate for all academic units, official programs, institutes, centers, labs, and administrative units.
Eligibility
Stanford Basic may NOT be used for personal sites, student or staff group sites, or sites with looser affiliations with Stanford. Sites that fall into these categories should use the Minimally Branded Subtheme.

Global Brand Bar
Out of the box, Stanford Basic includes the Cardinal Red version of the Stanford Brand Bar. It also supports other variants that are part of the Stanford Identity system. To request a different version, send us a request via Service Now.

Global Footer
Out of the box, Stanford Basic includes the Cardinal Red version of the Stanford Global Footer. It also supports the dark grey variant. To request switching to this version, send us a request via Service Now.
