Section Options

Layout sections allow for color and spacing options that help you organize and highlight content on your landing pages. Sections can be changed to have one of different six background colors. Additionally, three spacing choices provide improved layout flexibility. 

Add a section background color

1. Click on Add Section or click the pencil icon to edit an existing section

2. A new window labeled Create New Layout will open. Look for options under Background Color to select your desired color.

Background colors

 All colors are based on Accent Colors from the Stanford Identity.

Adjust section spacing

Spacing adjustments can be used to bring two sections with the same color background closer together or to bring a header closer to a series of cards, etc.

1. Click on Add Section or click the pencil icon to edit an existing section
2. A new window titled Create New Layout will open. Find the options displayed beneath Background Color for:

• Space Inside the Section - Top (padding-top).
  • This would be equivalent to "padding-top".
• Space Inside the Section - Bottom (padding-bottom).
  • This would be equivalent to "padding-bottom".
• Space Below Section (margin-bottom).

  • This would be equivalent to "margin-bottom".
