We are always actively investigating, designing and developing for Stanford Sites and Stanford Sites Intranet. This roadmap is updated as feature requests are prioritized in partnership with the Stanford Sites Advisory Group and with our clients.

Planned retirements
There are times where a feature is no longer used or a better feature is created to replace it. The following list indicates items that are being evaluated for deprecation on Stanford Sites.

| Social Media Icons on News Norms for the display of social media sharing icons on individual news items has changed. Site owners who still wish to provide sharing options for individual news items will be able to use third-party tools to replace this functionality with much better options for customization. | TBD | Evaluation |
| Filtered List Pages The functionality of the pre-installed Filtered Lists Pages can be provided (and improved) by the use of the Filtered Lists Paragraph. This deprecation will only affect new sites. Retirement will not include existing sites. | TBD | Evaluation |
